My Vacation to Arizona
Saturday, November 24th, 2007Hey everyone!
Firstly, I just want to say a big THANK YOU to everyone who posted comments on my various blog posts. I read them all and I really appreciate it. Your words are so supportive and encouraging!
Okay, so you saw the topic of this entry…My Vacation to Arizona. Can you guess what this post is gonna be about??? lol. Anyways, I went to Arizona last week for a few days. My family has done this trip every winter (well, fall actually…but it feels like winter!) for the past few years. We stayed in this adorable little town called Williams. It’s awesome! On the first day of our trip, we drove out to Sedona and ate yummy pastas and breads at this place called Wildflower. The next day, we drove to Flagstaff so I could get some skating time in (ya gotta love ice rinks!). That was super fun because my mom even put on a pair of rental skates and skated with me. I was trying to teach her some simple moves like stroking, 3-turns, and swizzles and she learned everything so quickly! After skating, we went up to the Grand Canyon and walked around for a little bit. It is so stunning…I never get tired of looking at it! Then, we drove back to Williams and rode on The Polar Express! It’s so much fun. For those of you who don’t know, The Polar Express is The Grand Canyon Railway dressed up just like The Polar Express, cool conductor and all. Once you board the train, you get to drink hot cocoa, listen to and sing Christmas songs, and just relax with your family! It’s really nice. The next day, we drove all the way from Williams back to our house. It was a loooong drive! We listened to Christmas music, though, which always helps the time to pass quickly. I am sad that the vacation is over…it was so much fun! One of my favorite parts of the trip was meeting so many great fans in every stop… whether we were at the ice rink, the Grand Canyon, a restaurant, Sedona, or riding on The Polar Express, I was so fortunate to meet so many terrific fans who made my trip even more fun!
Before I go, Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! Sorry I’m a little late! What did you all do? I stayed home and watched the Thanksgiving Day Parade on TV, then helped make some side dishes before enjoying the HUGE feast! I was so stuffed at the end of the day!
I’ll talk to you later,
~ Jennette :0)
